What is a dwelling place?

The small things: a handmade blanket, half-full coffee cups, a fire in the hearth during the dead of winter. To dwell is to pause. To resist motion and sit quietly.

The words of Psalm 91:1-2 call the Almighty our dwelling place, One in whose shadow we should abide. An awareness of His nearness grounds us.

The Curate Summit encourages you to trust in this promise and to slow down. We should pause to examine ourselves, discovering the depths and complexities of our own beings.

The act of dwelling radiates life into your surroundings. We in turn dwell with one another.

Step into the comfort of community, the assurance of purpose, and an awareness of your refuge, within the shadow of the Almighty.

Your home—a dwelling—brings you life and joy. It is a place to belong.

What better place to start than Curate! Join us for the Summit on February 14th!

What is Curate?

You may be wondering- what exactly is Curate?

Allow us to introduce ourselves! Curate is a collection of women in the area who want to give back to the women of Hillsdale College.

At the Curate Summit, you can expect to learn more about what makes you unique (both as an individual and as a woman), you will find community and mentorship from alumnae and current students, and you will be challenged and inspired to make the most of these four years of college. You won’t want to miss out!
